Invicta FC will crown a new featherweight champion at its next event.
The company will head to Shawnee, Okla. for Invicta 32 on Friday, Nov. 16, where Felicia Spencer and Pam Sorenson will square off for the vacant 145-pound belt.
Spencer (5-0), a Montreal native now based in Orlando, has spent the entirety of her pro career in Invicta. In her most recent bout, Spencer defeated Helena Kolesnyk via second-round submission at Invicta 30.
Sorenson (7-2) who fights out of Minnesota, has won two straight and is 3-1 in Invicta. Her notable victories include a split decision over current UFC flyweight champion Nicco Montano, Jessica Rose-Clark, and Jan Finney.
In the co-feature bout, Mizuki Inoue (12-5) returns to action with a strawweight matchup against Heather Jo Clark (8-6). Inoue’s split-decision loss Virna Jandiroba in an Invicta 28 bout to fill the vacant strawweight belt snapped a four-fight winning streak; while Clark fighting out of Las Vegas, decisioned Kinberly Novaes in her company debut at Invicta 30.
Other bouts of note scheduled for Invicta 32 include an atomweight matchup between Ashley Cummins (6-4) and Jessica Delboni (7-0), who is coming down from strawweight; and former Invicta matchmaker Kaitlin Young (8-9-1) who returned to action at RIZIN 12 after a four-year absence and defeated Reina Miura, will face Zarah Fairn dos Santos (6-2) at featherweight.
