This is The A-Side Live Chat on MMA Fighting.

Today on the show, we’ll talk Michael Chiesa suing Conor McGregor for the now-infamous bus attack in Brooklyn. Does Chiesa have any kind of a case? Why is the fan response to Chiesa so negative? Is the lawsuit worth the venomous feedback?

We’ll also discuss all the storylines coming out of UFC 228, especially Tyron Woodley’s dominant win over Darren Till and who could be next in line for the welterweight title. Is Colby Covington next up? Does Georges St-Pierre factor in here? And where does Woodley rank among the best welterweights of all-time?

In addition, Nicco Montaño was hospitalized Friday due to kidney issues caused by an extreme weight cut gone bad and later stripped of the UFC women’s flyweight title. Did the UFC make the right decision in stripping Montaño? Who should Valentina Shevchenko fight for the 125-pound title? When is the MMA community going to get this weight-cutting epidemic in check?

There’s also UFC Moscow coming up Saturday, headlined by Mark Hunt vs. Aleksei Oleinik. Fabricio Werdum was supposed to be in the main event of the card, but he failed a drug test and, on Tuesday, USADA announced that Werdum would be suspended for two years. Why did USADA come to its decision? How did Werdum get his sanction so quickly compared to the ongoing Jon Jones case?

If there’s time, we can chat more about UFC Moscow and the other fights on the card. There’s still a gaping hole where a main event should be at UFC 230. What’s going to go there? And are we going to get any kind of press conference for Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Conor McGregor before fight week?

There is plenty to talk about, so join us to discuss all of the above and much more. All is up for discussion. The chat will start at our time of 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT.

Like Luke Thomas before us, we’ll post the video window as the event draws near and answer any questions you might have if you post them in the comments below. For the comments you deem the most deserving, please click the “rec” button. Comments in green will get first priority.
