Two up-and-coming bantamweight prospects will collide at UFC Denver.

A matchup between Ricardo Ramos and Ricky Simon is currently in the works for the Nov. 10 event, sources told MMA Fighting’s Guilherme Cruz. The bout is not yet signed.

Ramos (12-1) is a perfect 3-0 thus far in his Octagon run. The 23-year-old Brazilian has sandwiched decisions over Kyung Ho Kang and Michinori Tanaka between a highlight-reel spinning back elbow knockout of Aiemann Zahabi.

Simon (14-1), likewise, is an undefeated 2-0 in his brief UFC tenure. The 26-year-old Washington native kicked off his Octagon career with a controversial win over Merab Dvalishvili, then picked up a unanimous decision over Montel Jackson at UFC 227.

UFC Denver takes place at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado. The event is headlined by a featherweight matchup between Frankie Edgar and Chan Sung Jung, aka “The Korean Zombie.”
