Ronda Rousey ragdolls opponent in first televised WWE match

Someone might want to tell Ronda Rousey that pro wrestling isn’t a real fight.

The former UFC women’s bantamweight champion ragdolled her opponent around the ring in her WWE television debut on Monday Night Raw in Jacksonville, Fla. Check out the video above. Rousey has had matches on big events which aired on the digital WWE Network and at shows only for the live crowd, but this was her first one on TV — and it was the main event.

In one sequence, Rousey yanked foe Alicia Fox around the ring by Fox’s arm with judo tosses that looked pretty painful. The formerly dominant UFC champ has acclimated herself well with her in-ring work in WWE, drawing raves from critics given she hasn’t been training in pro wrestling all that long.

Rousey, who has not fought in the UFC since 2016, will challenge for the WWE Raw women’s title at SummerSlam on Aug. 19 in Brooklyn.
