Round 1: Blake Grice the third man in the cage for this featherweight encounter. Both fighters staying at distance, testing the range with leg kicks. Swanson tries a left hook and gets a jab for his efforts. He blocks a high kick from Moicano. They are throwing fast. Right hand to the body by Swanson. Moicano chops away at Swanson with a kick the body, then one to the leg. Swanson puts his head down and looks for some power punches, but Moicano is staying evasive. Swanson finds success with a leg kick of his own. Stiff jab by Moicano drops Swanson and Moicano is all over him with rapid punches on the ground. Swanson defends well and recovers, but Moicano keeps up the pressure, following him to the fence before dragging him to the mat. He transitions to full mount with 90 seconds to work. Swanson gets back to half guard. He’s having a hell of a time keeping the lengthy Moicano off of him. They scramble and Moicano immediately gets Swanson’s back for a rear-naked choke attempt. Swanson has to tap out. Moicano looking humbled by the moment, he bows down to Swanson after.
