No stranger to breaking new ground, Invicta FC president Shannon Knapp is ushering in another first this Saturday.

Officials told MMA Fighting’s Marc Raimondi that for the first time in the all-female promotion’s six-year history it will stream a fight live on its Facebook page from this Saturday’s Invicta FC 31 event in Kansas City, Mo. That bout will be a featherweight encounter between Audrey Drew (1-0) and Holli Salazar (1-0).

Originally, amateur bantamweights Chantel Coates and Ashlynn Kleinbeck had been selected for the Facebook portion of the card, but that bout has been canceled due to Kleinbeck announcing that she had to undergo an emergency appendectomy.

The Drew-Salazar bout will air on both Facebook and UFC Fight Pass at 8 p.m. ET on Saturday, with the rest of the eight-fight event streaming exclusively on UFC Fight Pass.

In the main event, strawweight Virna Jandiroba will look to defend her title for the first time when she faces fellow Brazilian Janaisa Morandin.
