This is the A-Side Live Chat Podcast on MMA Fighting.

Today on the show, we’ll talk Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather seemingly rekindling their feud following the one-year anniversary of their boxing match. Will McGregor and Mayweather actually fight again? Any chance Mayweather steps into the Octagon? Is any of this even relevant?

We’ll also discuss Nate Diaz and Bruce Buffer’s inexplicable Twitter beef from over the weekend. Was Buffer out of line in saying Diaz should bow down to UFC president Dana White? What should be made of Diaz’s response? And does Buffer have a point about Diaz’s complaining?

In addition, Justin Gaethje scored an incredible knockout of James Vick at UFC Lincoln last weekend. Where does Gaethje go from here? Is his style actually sustainable? Did we learn anything more about Gaethje than we didn’t know going into the bout?

There’s also UFC 228 coming up next week, featuring a big welterweight title fight between champion Tyron Woodley and Darren Till. Till did a media workout Tuesday in Las Vegas and already seemed over his weight cut. Is there anything that should be made of that? Woodley said this week that he won’t fight backup fighter Kamaru Usman even if Till misses weight. What should we expect there?

If there’s time, we can chat about The Ultimate Fighter 28 debuting Wednesday night with teams coached by Robert Whittaker and Kelvin Gastelum. PFL 7 is Thursday, as fighters try to jockey for playoff positioning. Invicta FC 31 is Saturday night, featuring a great strawweight title fight between Virna Jandiroba and Janaisa Morandin. ONE Championship announced its debut card in Japan.

There is plenty to talk about, so join us to discuss all of the above and much more. All is up for discussion. The chat will start at our time of 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT.

Like Luke Thomas before us, we’ll post the video window as the event draws near and answer any questions you might have if you post them in the comments below. For the comments you deem the most deserving, please click the “rec” button. Comments in green will get first priority.
