Matt Serra was forced to subdue a customer at a restaurant a night before his Hall of Fame induction in Las Vegas on Thursday.
The former UFC welterweight champion posted a video of him mounting what he described as an “a**hole drunk who was threatening waiters.”
Serra launched into action when the customer tried to swing on him, according to his post. He repeatedly told the customer to “calm down” throughout the altercation and quickly handed him over to the proper authorities as soon as they arrived on the scene.
The jiu-jitsu ace laughed off the civilian’s threats as he controlled him. Despite the precarious position his counterpart was in, he still had the audacity to roar, “I’m going to f*ck you up” in the direction of Serra, who responded with a chuckle.
Serra had posted another video before the situation unraveled of what appears to be the same customer he subdued trying to wake up another customer at one of the restaurant’s tables.
