Anthony Smith finally gave the judges a break.
On a card that tied the UFC record for most decisions, Smith capped off Sunday’s Fight Night in Hamburg, Germany by knocking out the legendary Mauricio “Shogun” Rua in just under 90 seconds. It was the only fight on the main card that didn’t go to the scorecards, but there were other highlights including Corey Anderson’s upset of one-time light heavyweight title contender Glover Teixeira in the co-headlining bout and competitive scraps between Abu Azaitar and Vitor Miranda, and Danny Roberts and David Zawada.
