After repeatedly struggling to hit the welterweight limit of 171 pounds, Gastelum has reinvented himself as a fearsome middleweight contender over the past two years. Now with back-to-back victories over Michael Bisping and Ronaldo Souza under his belt, Gastelum is next slated to coach opposite Robert Whittaker on The Ultimate Fighter 28 then challenge for the UFC middleweight title in late 2018. Video of Gastelum’s musical debut — which was created as a skit for the 2017 World MMA Awards — can be seen above.
