Junior dos Santos spoiled the welcome party for World Series of Fighting’s final heavyweight champion.
Returning from a 14-month layoff, “Cigano” outclassed Octagon newcomer Blagoy Ivanov to handily win a unanimous decision Saturday night in the main event of UFC Boise. Dos Santos’ performance capped off a busy evening that also saw Sage Northcutt pick up his first welterweight win, Niko Price score a must-see knockout over Randy Brown, and longtime featherweight contender Chad Mendes announce his return to the Octagon with a thunderous victory over Myles Jury.
