Andrey Koreshkov looks like he really wants in on the Bellator Welterweight Grand Prix.
On Saturday night at Bellator 203 in Rome, Italy, the former welterweight champion was potentially fighting for a spot in Bellator’s upcoming tournament and he showed out, obliterating Vaso Bakocevic’s liver with a spectacular spinning back kick just over a minute into the first round. The kick was so powerful that Bakocevic was folded up in midair from the force of the blow. Check out Koreshkov’s handiwork below.
Former Bellator Welterweight Champion Andrey Koreshkov (21-2) breaks Montenegro's Vaso Bakočević in half, landing the perfect spinning back kick in just over a minute! The Russian is 8-1 in his last nine; he has finished 12 of his wins by KO/TKO (10 in the first). #Bellator203 pic.twitter.com/m6h8PLf6E6
