Paul Felder stepped in on short notice to fight Mike Perry last Saturday, and while he landed in a plum main card pay-per-view spot, it also came with a price.

Earlier this week, Felder’s management shared the grisly footage of the fighter receiving injections for a cut following his split decision loss to Perry at UFC 226, and they’ve followed that up with an x-ray of an injury that he suffered during the fight.

The commentary team picked up that something was wrong with Felder after round one and now it has been confirmed that “The Irish Dragon” actually broke his arm:

Before agreeing to replace an injured Yancy Medeiros and fight Perry, Felder was scheduled to take on James Vick at UFC Boise this weekend. Vick was moved to an Aug. 25 card to fight Justin Gaethje, which freed up Felder to sign up for UFC 226.

The timetable for Felder’s recovery is unknown at the moment.
