New Brunswick is set to get its first up-close-and personal look at the Octagon.
UFC president Dana White announced Thursday that the promotion will be holding an event in Moncton at the Moncton Events Centre on Oct. 27.

No fights were announced for the card as of yet.
Moncton becomes the 11th Canadian city to host a UFC event, joining the likes of Toronto, Vancouver, Winnipeg, Montreal, and Calgary. This is the most eastern province that the Octagon has traveled to since a visit to Halifax, Nova Scotia, in February 2017.
This also marks the second trip to Canada this year for the promotion. On July 28, the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary will host a UFC on FOX event headlined by a rematch between lightweights Eddie Alvarez and Dustin Poirier.
