Dana White, Matt Serra get involved in pro-wrestling match in Memphis

Maybe Dana White was inspired by his friend Ronda Rousey’s performance at WrestleMania.

The UFC president got involved in some pro-wrestling hijinx during an independent show Friday night in Memphis. White and Matt Serra were at the event, called the Beale Street Brawl, to film White’s Lookin’ for a Fight show.

In the clip, it appears like White and Serra — with the help of WWE and Memphis wrestling legend Jerry “The King Lawler” — helped wrestler Derrick King pick up a win. Afterward, a female performer jumped on White’s back and attempted to choke him.

At one point, it looked like White might take a bump or a blow when a wrestler wrapped him up from behind, but Lawler came in for the save. Grind City Media caught White and Lawler chatting it up earlier in the night, too.

White and Serra will be at V3 Fights on Saturday night in Memphis as part of the show, which is being taped to air eventually on UFC Fight Pass.
