A “Hurricane” is coming to Invicta.

Heather Jo Clark will make her debut for the promotion at Invicta FC 30 on July 21 in Kansas City, Mo., it was announced Wednesday. The Ultimate Fighter and UFC veteran will take on Brazilian prospect Kinberly Novaes in a strawweight bout.

Clark (7-6) has not fought since a unanimous decision loss to Alexa Grasso in November 2016. She is on a two-fight losing streak. Clark, 37, is a longtime veteran of women’s MMA, making her debut in 2010.

Novaes (9-4) is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Janaisa Morandin at Invicta 26 in December. She has lost two in a row, the former to current UFC fighter Syuri Kondo at Pancrase 287. Novaes, 27, is perhaps best known for winning an MMA title in Brazil while pregnant in 2015.

The Invicta FC 30 co-main event will be a featherweight bout between Felicia Spencer and Helena Kolesnyk. Also added to the card were a flyweight fight between Miranda Maverick and Brogan Walker-Sanchez, Shino VanHoose vs. Alesha Zappitella at atomweight, Alyse Anderson vs. Stephanie Alba at atomweight and a flyweight contest between Erin Blanchfield and Brittney Cloudy.

In the previously announced Invicta 30 main event, Jinh Yu Frey will take on Minna Grusander for the vacant atomweight title.
