UFC 225: Whittaker vs. Romero 2 took place June 9 at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. Former WWE superstar CM Punk (0-2) faced off against Mike Jackson (1-1) on the night’s main card, which aired live on pay-per-view. Catch the video highlights below.

Round 1: The referee for this bout is Kevin MacDonald. Punk with a lot of activity early, but Jackson remains calm and catches him with a right hand. Punk gets a straight right of his own and he pushes Jackson against the cage where they battle for underhooks. Jackson able to turn Punk around and they reset in the center of the cage. Body shot lands for Jackson. Punk with another right over the top that glances Jackson’s head. Jackson probing with the jab, then lands a pair of rights, one to the head and one to the body. Punk clinches up again and takes the fight to the fence. Neither man able to do much in the clinch. Punk looking for a Thai plum, he gets a knee, then ducks down for a takedown. Solid defense from Jackson as he’s just pushed across the Octagon back to the fence. They separate and trade jabs. Jackson with the cleaner shots. He doubles up on a jab and then blocks a takedown attempt. Punk ducks a punch and gets low to finally bring this one down to the mat. He’s on top in half guard. Jackson gets back up and scores with a pair of hard body shots.

Round 2: Jackson blocks a takedown attempt by Punk. He lands a right over the top. Wild punches by Punk and he catches a counter right from Jackson that hurts him. Punk pulls guard for an extremely sloppy guillotine and Jackson just drops him onto his back. Jackson taking his time to land punches and hammer fists from inside Punk’s guard. Punk is a bloody mess and not doing much from his back. He throws up a triangle that Jackson easily avoids. Jackson content to sit in Punk’s guard and do enough ground-and-pound to keep this one from being stood up.

Round 3: Punk eats more jabs to open round three, working to get into clinch range. Jackson accepts the clinch and wrestles with Punk against the fence. Takedowns are a no-go for Punk, who is tiring fast. He eats a big left hand on a takedown attempt. Jackson backs off so that Punk has to stand. Jackson slipping punches and connecting with his jab. Right hand over the top for Jackson. Punk ducks in for a takedown, ut he’s just hanging on as Jackson leans against the fence. Jackson gets space and he is just piecing Punk up. Back against the fence, Punk rolls for a kneebar and Jackson ends up on top. He’s on Punk’s back landing punches from the side. Jackson just riding this one out.
