That was the kind of finish Daron Cruickshank was looking for.
The former UFC fighter scorched Koshi Matusmoto with a walk-off head kick knockout Sunday at Rizin 10 in Fukuoka, Japan. The finish came in the first round after the two separated from a clinch. Cruickshank placed a lightning-fast left head kick right on the chin and neck of Matsumoto and he was out immediately.

When he saw Matsumoto was unconscious, Cruickshank flipped him a middle finger. The Michigan native walked out to Hulk Hogan’s old WWF theme music “Real American” and wore Hogan-esque fu manchu facial hair to boot.
Cruickshank (20-10) has now won two in a row after dropping his last two bouts in Rizin. Cruickshank, 32, has been with the Japanese promotion since its first show in 2016. Matsumoto (19-8-2) had won three straight coming in.
