This one definitely is not for the faint of heart.
Just when you think you’ve seen every kind of MMA injury, something comes along to shock you. That was the case at Legacy Fighting Alliance 39 in Vail, Colo., on Friday, when a flyweight bout between Brandon Royval and Jerome Rivera ended in gruesome fashion.
After an exchange against the cage, Rivera appeared to dislocate his arm and in the footage above it can be seen dangling unnaturally as he tries to get away from Royval. Unfortunately, he had to absorb a few more strikes before the referee noticed the injury and stopped the fight.
