Though his background has already brought him plenty of notoriety, John Gotti III is starting to build his own legacy inside the cage.
The welterweight fighter, who is the grandson of infamous New York mobster John Gotti, shined in his second pro MMA bout at a Classic Entertainment and Sports event in Westbury, N.Y., on Friday, needing just 32 seconds to dispatch of opponent Eddie Haws. With the win, Gotti improved his record to 2-0 following a successful debut last October.
Gotti caught a charging Haws with a counter-punch to put him down on the canvas and quickly followed up with hammer fists. The referee quickly stepped in to save the visibly hurt Haws.
