A meeting of knockout artists has been announced as Danny Roberts and Alan Jouban are set to clash at UFC Halmburg on July 22.
The UFC announced the welterweight meeting through its social media channels on Thursday afternoon following an initial report from FloCombat.
Roberts (15-3-0) is coming off his viral finish of Oliver Enkamp at UFC London, which got him back to his winning ways after suffering a knockout at the hands of Nordine Taleb at UFC on FOX 26. A former professional boxer, “Hot Chocolate” has cultivated a record of 4-2 under the UFC banner thus far including wins over Dominique Steele and Bobby Nash.
Jouban (16-6-0) also found his way back into the win column with a second-round stoppage of Ben Saunders in his last bout. Ahead of the Saunders fight, he had dropped two fights to Niko Price and Gunnar Nelson. He currently boasts a 7-4 record in the UFC.
