The nickname “Moggly” might not carry quite the same intimidation factor as “Rampage”, but even Quinton Jackson would be impressed by Gabriel Benitez’s work at UFC Chile.
Benitez (21-6) showed no mercy for opponent Humberto Bandenay (14-5, 1 NC) at the Movistar Arena in Santiago on Saturday, lifting the 23-year-old fighter from the canvas and brutally dropping him back down to set up a knockout finish.

Defending against an armbar, Benitez stayed calm before setting up the slam that visibly rocked Bandenay and left him open for follow-up strikes that ended the fight 39 seconds into round one.
“Moggly” scored his first knockout win inside the Octagon and has now won three of his last four fights.
