The Mexican fighter, and season three winner of The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America, has been scheduled to face veteran Alex Caceres in a featherweight bout at The Ultimate Fighter 27 Finale. The event is set to go down on July 6 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev.
The news was first reported by the Las Vegas Review Journal and was later announced by the UFC.
Bravo is 1-1 since joining the promotion at the end of 2016. He defeated Claudio Puelles at the The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America 3 Finale, and suffered a 26-second knockout to Humberto Bandenay at UFC Mexico City last August. The 24-year-old Bravo is currently 11-1 in his MMA career, and trains out of Entram Gym in Tijuana, Mexico.
Meanwhile, Caceres was supposed to fight last month at UFC 223, but his opponent Artem Lobov was pulled from the card for his involvement in the Conor McGregor bus attack at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. “Bruce Leroy” is currently 29 years old and sports a professional MMA record of 13-11. Caceres last fought in November where he lost a split decision to Guan Wang at UFC Shanghai.
