Held (23-7-0) signed with ACB after banking his first UFC win in four trips to the Octagon, a decision over debutant Nasrat Haqparast at UFC Gdansk. Since then, the jiu-jitsu ace took two victories at grappling event, Quintet 1. To begin his UFC stint, Held took three consecutive losses against Diego Sanchez, Joe Lauzon and Damir Hadzovic.
Held was signed by UFC after putting together an impressive 11-2 stint with Bellator. He took on Will Brooks for the promotion’s lightweight title in November 2015 but lost a decision after five rounds.
Welcoming the Polish submission specialist to the ACB fold is surging Aussie and fellow promotional newcomer in Potter.
Potter (16-6-0) is currently on an eight-fight win streak, with all victories coming by way of stoppage. “The Rockstar” claimed regional titles from Hex Fight Series and Eternal MMA ahead of his call up to ACB.
