UFC Hamburg poster released

The UFC’s poster for its upcoming trip to Germany is filled with international flare.

On Thursday, the promotion released promotional material for its July 22 show at the Barclaycard Arena in Hamburg, featuring Switzerland’s Volkan Oezdemir, Brazilian stars Mauricio Rua and Glover Teixeira, and Sweden’s Ilir Latifi.

In the main event, Oezdemir (15-2) will look to bounce back from his first UFC loss when he fights “Shogun” (25-10), a former light heavyweight champion on a three-fight win streak.

Teixeira and Latifi are jockeying for position at the top of the 205-pound rankings. In his last outing, Teixeira (27-6) finished Misha Cirkunov via first-round TKO, while Latifi (14-5, 1 NC) is coming off of back-to-back wins, with victories in five of his last six bouts.

The UFC Hamburg card is still under construction, but heavyweights Stefan Struve and Marcin Tybura are expected to be in action, as well as lightweight prospects Marc Diakiese and Nasrat Haqparast.
