UFC 225 poster released

On Friday, the UFC released a star-studded poster for their upcoming Chicago pay-per-view.

Featured most prominently are UFC 225 main event competitors Robert Whittaker and Yoel Romero. The two will meet in a rematch for the UFC middleweight championship that Whittaker won by defeating Romero via five-round unanimous decision last July. That victory earned Whittaker an interim title that has since been promoted to undisputed status.

Also on the poster, former lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos looks for a second world title when he meets Colby Covington for an interim welterweight belt in the evening’s co-main event.

The third bout featured on the poster has Chicago’s own CM Punk taking on Mike Jackson. Punk, a former WWE superstar, and Jackson will both be looking for their first wins as professional MMA fighters.

UFC 225 takes place on June 9 at the United Center in Chicago.
