A pair of welterweight bouts have been added to UFC Atlantic City.
Ryan LaFlare fights Alex Garcia, while Tony Martin moves up to 170 pounds to face Keita Nakamura at the upcoming New Jersey show on April 21.
The card will be headlined by a previously announced fight between lightweight contenders Edson Barboza and Kevin Lee.
This will be LaFlare’s first outing since being knocked out in the second round by Alex Oliveira at UFC on FOX 25 last July. The native of Lindenhurst, N.Y., sports a 6-2 record inside the Octagon and a 13-2 record overall.
Garcia (15-4) has alternated wins and losses in his last seven appearances. At UFC Shanghai this past November, “The Dominican Nightmare” submitted Muslim Salikhov in the second round. Garcia is 5-3 in the UFC, with notable wins over Mike Pyle and Mike Swick.
Martin (12-4) will compete at welterweight for the first time since his days on the regional scene back in 2012. In his most recent outing, he lost a split decision to Olivier Aubin-Mercier, which dropped his UFC record to 4-4. Prior to that, Martin had won three straight fights.
Japan’s Nakamura is coming off of a split decision win over Alex Morono at UFC Saitama in September. “K-Taro” is 3-5 in two stints with the UFC.
