Milana Dudieva has herself an opponent and the Invicta FC 28 card is set.
The promotion announced Tuesday that recent Ultimate Fighter 26 contestant Christina Marks (8-9) has stepped up on short notice to to make her Invicta debut against Dudieva (11-7) in a flyweight bout at the March 24 show, which takes place at the Union Event Center in Salt Lake City. Dudieva lost originally scheduled opponent Mizuki Inoue when Inoue was moved to the strawweight championship main event opposite Virna Jandiroba to replace an injured Janaisa Morandin.
Dudieva, 28, is looking to snap a four-fight skid dating back to her days with the UFC. She fought Vanessa Porto at Invicta FC 26 last December, losing by third-round TKO and hasn’t won since earning a split decision against Elizabeth Phillips at UFC Fight Night 48 back in August 2014.
Prior to her stint on TUF, Marks was on a three-fight winning streak. The 32-year-old failed to make it out of the first round of the show’s 16-woman tournament, then fell to Montana De La Rosa at The Ultimate Fighter 26 Finale by first-round submission.
Invicta FC 28 will air live on the UFC’s online Fight Pass service.
