Alexander Hernandez made quite an impression in his UFC debut.
Taking the fight on less than two weeks’ notice, Hernandez used a thunderous left to rock Beneil Dariush in the first round and got the win at UFC 222 on Saturday night.
Hernandez improved to 9-1 in his career with the win, while Dariush dropped to 14-4-1 with the loss.
“You didn’t know me then, but I promise you know me know,” Hernandez said in his post-fight interview.
