This is the Promotional Malpractice Live Chat.

Today on the podcast, we'll discuss the recent media tour at ESPN that former UFC women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey went on to promote her professional wrestling endeavors. While it would not be fair to say it was entirely a disaster, it did produce a series of cringe-inducing moments related to her inability to discuss anything related to her losses in MMA or even MMA more generally. We'll discuss why.

Also, welterweight is moving along. Gunnar Nelson vs. Neil Magny is now set for UFC Liverpool as the likely co-main event. We'll break down what's finally happening at welterweight and what it all could mean.

Plus, while there hasn't been much UFC, regional-level MMA has been producing some pretty spectacular action.
