The new guard of the heavyweight division continues to make its presence felt.
Alexander Volkov stunned Fabricio Werdum on Saturday night in England, knocking the former UFC champion out cold with a wicked fourth-round sequence at the O2 Arena in the main event of UFC London. Volkov, a man who once reigned as Bellator’s heavyweight king, pushed his Octagon record to a perfect 4-0 with the breakout performance and instantly becomes a legitimate title contender in the UFC’s heaviest division.
Check out reaction to Volkov’s big win below, plus the best of the rest from an action-packed card at UFC London.

Volkov's fights are weird, because he always looks like he's losing or being outworked, then he wins. #UFCLondon

— Ian McCall (@Unclecreepymma) March 17, 2018
Well, if Manuwa was "disappointed" with how their first fight went, he's going to be super-bummed with this one. #UFCLondon pic.twitter.com/P8DcPlKI8N

— Corey Anderson UFC (@CoreyA_MMA) March 17, 2018
I'm not sure I agree with that decision. I thought Ware doused "Fire Crotch." #UFCLondon pic.twitter.com/ZYS4cG8odV
— The Spartan (@EliasTheodorou) March 17, 2018
In the hands of the damn judges. U can count on a fumble
— Randy Brown (@TouchNgo_) March 17, 2018
That was a weak decision imo I had Ware winning #UFCLondon
— éS (@EricSpicely) March 17, 2018
I just don’t know anything anymore. I give up ♂️ 30-27?? #UFCLondon
— Aljamain Sterling (@FunkMaster_UFC) March 17, 2018
Clearly! Wasn’t a landslide blow out. But RD 2&3 I gave to Ware. He picked up the clear momentum throughout the fight, and was landing the better strikes. Leg kicks didn’t seem to phase “too much” to weigh it that heavily. https://t.co/IpOV8kVNvg

LEON EDWARDS DEF. PETER SOBOTTA
What the heck kind of stoppage was that #ufclondon

— scott askham (@scottaskham1) March 17, 2018
Yup, Edwards gets the stop with a second left in the third. Can't get any closer to that. #ufclondon pic.twitter.com/Wkzs8X6tBm
