Manny Bermudez vs. Albert Morales added to UFC on FOX 28

Undefeated bantamweight prospect Manny Bermudez is set to debut at UFC on FOX 28.

Fighting out of Abington, Mass., Bermudez will face Albert Morales at the UFC’s Feb. 24 show in Orlando, Fla. Officials announced the bout Monday.

This will be Bermudez’s second fight in less than a month. Since turning pro in 2015, he has amassed an 11-0 record with eight of those wins coming by way of first-round submission. Bermudez needed just 66 seconds to force Seth Basler to tap out at a Cage Titans show in January.

Morales (7-3-1) has struggled in the UFC so far, earning just one win in five appearances. He won a split decision over Andre Soukhamthath in March of last year before going on to drop two straight unanimous nods to Brett Johns and Benito Lopez.

UFC on FOX 29 will be headlined by a featherweight contest between Jeremy Stephens and Josh Emmett.
