Octagon Esther Lin, MMA Fighting

The UFC had some good news for the New York metropolitan area on Saturday.

A trip to Utica, N.Y., has been scheduled for June 1 at the Adirondack Bank Center, officials announced on the UFC Belem broadcast. This will be the Octagon’s first visit to Utica, and its second scheduled show for the state of New York so far in 2018, following the UFC 223 pay-per-view on April 7.

For the previously announced UFC Atlantic City show on April 21, a trio of bouts were confirmed.

Women’s bantamweights Leslie Smith and Aspen Ladd, bantamweights Merab Dvalishvili and Augusto Mendes, and flyweights Magomed Bibulatov and Ulka Sasaki, are all scheduled to compete at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, N.J. It will be the UFC’s first show at the venue since June 4, 2005.

Both events will air on FOX Sports 1.

No fights were announced for the June 1 show.
