This is the Promotional Malpractice Live Chat.

Today on the podcast, we'll tackle some of the arguments being floated on social media and in a few articles questioning (albeit not directly asserting) whether the UFC has been a fad all this time. Amidst declining PPV buys, a stars exodus and falling TV ratings, is there something about the product that shows it was always just a flash in the pan? We'll discuss.

Plus, as it does most weekends, the UFC train rolls on. This weekend they're in Orlando, Florida with another UFC on FOX event, although it doesn't much feel like it. What is of value on the card and what isn't? We'll parse the differences.

We're also coming off of the heels of a very good UFC Austin card. Donald Cerrone got back to his winning ways and Derrick Lewis and Nate Diaz provided some highlight reel moments inside and outside the cage.

There was also the second leg of the Bellator heavyweight grand prix on Friday, which we'll dig into a little as well.
