Fighting in the city where he once suited up for the Cowboys, Greg Hardy showed that he’s serious about his new athletic venture.
Hardy needed just 14 seconds to knock out Ryan Chester in a heavyweight preliminary bout in his promotional debut at Legacy Fighting Alliance 33 in Dallas on Friday.

The win improved the former NFL player’s amateur MMA record to 3-0, with all three wins coming by first-round KO. Hardy, 29, was a member of the NFL from 2010-2015, a stretch that saw him make one Pro Bowl before his career was derailed by his involvement in a 2014 domestic violence case.
