At UFC 205, back on Nov. 12, 2016, Yoel Romero took on former UFC champ Chris Weidman in a pivotal middleweight bout. That night in New York City, Romero brutally put away Weidman with a flying knee in the third round of their bout. Romero’s finish earned him a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus.
Now, over a year later, Romero will battle Luke Rockhold in the main event of UFC 221. The event is set to take place on Saturday at the Perth Arena in Perth, Australia.
