Polaris 8 results: Cornelius vs. Jones


MMA Fighting has the Polaris 8 results for the Cornelius vs. Jones event Sunday Dec. 9 from the Viola Theatre in Cardiff, Wales.

The jiu-jitsu promotion are set to crown three new champions at the end-of-year event.

Keenan Cornelius faces Polaris middleweight titleholder Craig Jones to determine the light-heavyweight championship. Marcin Held is set to meet hometown competitor Ross Nicholls to decide the welterweight title and highly touted teenager Nicky Ryan clashes with Masakazu Imanari for the featherweight title.

Several MMA practitioners are set to compete at the event including former UFC lightweight champion Ben Henderson, Satoshi Ishii, Brett Johns, Paul Redmond and Lewis Long.
