Herb Dean is out as referee of the UFC 232 light heavyweight title main event between Jon Jones and Alexander Gustafsson due to injury, California State Athletic Commission executive director Andy Foster informed MMA Fighting on Wednesday.

Veteran referee Mike Beltran will replace Dean as the third man in the cage.

Foster said he is attempting to keep in place all the referees and judges who were already booked to work the two title fights when the card was in Nevada.

Marc Goddard will stay in place as the referee for the Cris Cyborg vs. Amanda Nunes co-main event for the UFC women’s featherweight title.

The judges for the Jones vs. Gustafsson main event are scheduled to be: Derek Cleary, Sal D’Amato and Junichiro Kamijo. Chris Lee, Dave Hagen and Mike Bell are the judges scheduled for Cyborg vs. Nunes.
