Li Jingliang showed heart — and a nice kick — in his UFC Beijing win.
Fighting in home soil at Saturday’s Fight Night event, the Chinese welterweight survived an early storm by David Zawada, suffering a knockdown in the opening round, to win in the final frame with a side kick to the body.

Jingliang (16-5), who won six of his last seven bouts inside the Octagon, has knocked out five opponents since 2015. Zawada (16-5) dropped to 0-2 since joining the UFC in 2018.
