UFC Beijing live blog: Curtis Blaydes vs. Francis Ngannou 2

This is the UFC Beijing live blog for Curtis Blaydes vs. Francis Ngannou 2, a heavyweight rematch at Saturday’s UFC event at Cadillac Arena in Beijing, China.

Blaydes, who has won five straight bouts (excluding a no-contest) since losing to Ngannou back in April 2016, faces Ngannou, who has lost two straight, in the main event.

Round 1: Marc Goddard the third man in this cage for this one. Sharp leg kick by Ngannou to start things off. Right hand over the top and Blaydes nearly face plants. Goddard looks like he might jump in, but he gives Blaydes a chance to recover. Blaydes has his back turned and Ngannou hammers him with left hooks around his shoulders. Goddard has seen enough of Blaydes stumbling around and he waves it off. Blaydes not happy with the stoppage.
