There is no certainly love lost between Jon Jones and Alexander Gustafsson.
Jones and Gustafsson faced off Friday in New York following the UFC 232 press conference, and it didn’t take long for things to get heated. Jones started things off by stepping in front of Gustafsson while the two were posing for the media. Gustafsson responded by returning the favor to Jones, which led to “Bones” shoving the Swede and UFC president Dana White rushing out in a panic to split the two up before tensions escalated further.
The minor scuffle followed an introductory press conference that showcased plenty of bad blood between the two light heavyweight rivals, who previously faced off in a close fight at UFC 165 that Jones won via unanimous decision. They are currently scheduled to rematch on Dec. 29 for the light heavyweight at UFC 232.
