With one fighter/commentator already competing in the main event at UFC 230, another competitor who has caught on as an analyst will make his pay-per-view color commentating debut.
UFC lightweight Paul Felder will be part of the broadcast team at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Saturday night, the promotion announced Tuesday. Felder will join play-by-play announcer Jon Anik and color commentator Joe Rogan.
Felder, 33, has developed a fan following for exciting fights in the Octagon, where he’s won five of his past seven outings. But he’s also become a cult favorite as a commentator on FOX properties and UFC Fight Pass for both astute commentary and his willingness to be more forthright about fellow fighters than most of his peers.
Additionally, FOX announced that Michael Bisping, Kenny Florian, and Karyn Bryant will host studio duties for UFC 230, with Meghan Olivi on-site at MSG. Brandon Moreno and Victor Davila will handle Spanish announce duties.
UFC 230 is headlined by Daniel Cormier, a frequent UFC pay-per-view color commentator, defending his heavyweight title against Derrick Lewis.
