Daichi Abe had a short notice against Luis Santos in Myanmar.

Entering his 78th mixed martial arts bout in the ONE Championship: Pursuit of Greatness main card opener on Friday, Luis Santos made quick work of the UFC veteran at Yangon’s Thuwunna Indoor Stadium.

With only three strikes landed, three hard liver kicks, the former ONE welterweight title contender stopped Abe in just 33 seconds.

“Sapo”, who saw his 2015 championship bout with Ben Askren end in a no-contest due to an unintentional eye poke, scored his fifth victory under the company’s banner. The Brazilian veteran now holds an overall record of 65-11-1-1 with 49 stoppage wins.
