This is The A-Side Live Chat on MMA Fighting.

Today on the show, we’ll talk the now infamous Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Conor McGregor post-fight brawl. Who is to blame? What kind of punishment will the Nevada Athletic Commission levy? What is next for both men?

We’ll also discuss the wildness surrounding UFC 230. Daniel Cormier vs. Derrick Lewis for the heavyweight title is the new main event, but Dustin Poirier vs. Nate Diaz is now off due to a Poirier injury. Valentina Shevchenko will now go back to her originally scheduled UFC 231 fight against Joanna Jedrzejczyk. Does Cormier vs. Lewis make sense? Will Diaz stay on the card? Does Sijara Eubanks have a right to be upset?

In addition, there was a whole lot more coming out of UFC 229 to talk about, including Tony Ferguson’s huge win over Anthony Pettis. What is next for Ferguson? How about the performances from prospects like Dominick Reyes and Aspen Ladd? Could Michelle Waterson be closing in on a title shot?

We will also speak about the back-to-back Bellator cards this weekend, headlined by the Bellator Heavyweight World Heavyweight Grand Prix semifinals. Ryan Bader vs. Matt Mitrione goes down Friday at Bellator 207 and Chael Sonnen vs. Fedor Emelianenko is at Bellator 208 on Saturday. Marc is in New York for both cards.

If there’s time, we can chat about PFL 9, which features the light heavyweight and lightweight division playoffs, as well as PFL 8 from last week, which had some surprising results.

There is plenty to talk about, so join us to discuss all of the above and much more. All is up for discussion. The chat will start at our time of 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT.

As always, we’ll post the video window as the event draws near and answer any questions you might have if you post them in the comments below. For the comments you deem the most deserving, please click the “rec” button. Comments in green will get first priority.
