Former UFC strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk recently received an honor worthy of her world-class athletic accomplishments.
Jedrzejczyk, a native of Olsztyn, Poland, was selected to carry the Olympic torch for a segment of the torch’s journey to Pyeongchang County, South Korea, for the 2018 Winter Games, which begin on Feb. 9.
The 14-1 former champ, who successfully defended her title five times before losing to Rose Namajunas at UFC 217, carried the torch over the weekend.
She posted about the once-in-a-lifetime experience on social media, which you can see below.
