If the early indications are any example, 2018 is going to be a very violent year.
Japanese flyweight Satoshi “Tiger” Date kicked off the new year with a rarely seen rolling thunder knockout Wednesday at a special rules match at a Ganryujima event in Urayasu, Japan. The 21-year-old Date (6-9-7) flattened his debuting opponent, Shunsuke Kazuki (0-1), with the highlight-reel move, evoking shades of Peter Graham’s legendary KO of Badr Hari.
