Bellator 192 salaries: Four fighters make a guaranteed six figures

Cynthia Vance, MMA Fighting

Saturday night marked one of the most significant cards in Bellator history — and also one of the most expensive.

Four fighters made a guaranteed six figures at Bellator 192 in Inglewood, Calif., according to a document obtained by the California State Athletic Commission (CSAC), led by headliners Chael Sonnen and Quinton Jackson. The event took place at The LA Forum.

Sonnen and “Rampage” both made $300,000 guaranteed for the Bellator Heavyweight World Grand Prix first-round tournament bout. Sonnen ended up winning via unanimous decision.

Rory MacDonald won the Bellator welterweight title in a unanimous decision victory over Douglas Lima in the co-main event. MacDonald and Lima both walked away with a guaranteed haul of $100,000.

Further down the card, blue-chip prospect Aaron Pico cashed a guaranteed $60,000 with $30,000 to show and another $30,000 earned for beating Shane Kruchten (via brutal liver punch). Former Bellator lightweight champion Michael Chandler made $50,000 (with no win bonus) in his unanimous decision win over Goiti Yamauchi.

In the main card opener, Henry Corrales took home a guaranteed $40,000 — $20,000 to show and another $20,000 for a win over Georgi Karakhanyan.

A complete list of the Bellator 192 salaries can be seen below. As always, these figures do not represent a fighter’s total earnings, as certain sponsorship incomes, pay-per-view earnings or discretionary bonuses are not publicly disclosed.
