Fighting as a betting underdog, Miocic outworked and outlasted Francis Ngannou to successfully defend his UFC heavyweight title via dominant decision Saturday night in Boston in the main event of UFC 220. The performance marked Miocic’s third consecutive defense of his belt, setting a new record for the UFC heavyweight division.
