Bellator’s first big event of the year saw a fan favorite move on to the next round of their Heavyweight Grand Prix. In the main event of Bellator 192 on Saturday, Chael Sonnen controlled former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton Jackson to a unanimous decision win, punching his ticket for a date with the winner of Frank Mir vs. Fedor Emelianenko later this year. And in the co-main event, Rory MacDonald finally won gold, taking a decision off of champion Douglas Lima in a back-and-forth affair that was anybody’s fight heading into the final round.
