UFC Orlando card update: Ovince Saint Preux vs. Ilir Latifi rescheduled, Sara McMann gets new opponent

Three new bouts were added to UFC’s upcoming trip to Orlando on Feb. 24.

A light heavyweight showdown between Ovince Saint Preux and Ilir Latifi was moved to card, and Sara McMann will now take on Marion Reneau. The third contest announced is a bantamweight clash between Rani Yahya and Russell Doane. Orlando Sentinel first reported the news.

OSP (22-10) and Latifi (13-5, 1 no-contest) were originally scheduled to fight on Jan. 27, but the Swedish talent was forced out due to an injury. St. Preux was willing to fight anyone in Charlotte, even at heavyweight, but the promotion ultimately decided to reschedule the contest.

Reneau (8-3-1) was expected to face Tonya Evinger earlier in February, but was re-booked to fight McMann after Evinger suffered an injury. The 40-year-old veteran is 2-0-1 in her last three UFC bouts, and now meets McMann (11-4), a former bantamweight contender who attempts to get back on track following a submission loss to Ketlen Vieira last September.

Yahya (24-9, 1 no-contest) and Doane (15-7) are both coming off quick stoppage victories inside the Octagon. The Brazilian jiu-jitsu expert last fought in August, tapping Enrique Briones in two minutes, while the Hawaiian bantamweight beat Kwan Ho Kwak via TKO inside one round last June.

The promotion has yet to announce which bout will headline UFC on FOX 28. The current fight card can be seen below.
